Legacy Forward Advisors is a boutique public health and grant management consulting firm founded on a single conviction: the organizations doing the most important work in our communities deserve the same caliber of operational infrastructure as the institutions that fund them.We partner with mission-driven organizations to build the systems, strategies, and compliance infrastructure that transform good intentions into funded, sustainable, and measurable community impact. Our work spans the full arc of public health programming — from identifying the right funding opportunity to closing out the final grant report — with the discipline, documentation standards, and sector knowledge that only come from working inside the federal system itself.
Our Team
Legacy Forward Advisors is led by a senior public health and grant management professional with over a decade of federal experience — including five years embedded at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where our team managed pre- and post-award compliance for portfolios totaling $2.47B across national COVID-19 emergency response, health equity, and tobacco prevention programs.
Our practice draws on direct experience inside three federal accountability systems — the CDC/HHS, U.S. Department of Education, and U.S. Department of Justice — as well as international public health consulting in Haiti and community health infrastructure development across diverse populations including homeless youth, migrant families, refugee communities, and survivors of trafficking.
LFA's methodological foundation includes Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (DMAIC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), ISO 9001 Quality Management, and FEMA emergency management frameworks — applied specifically for public health and nonprofit contexts. Our team is bilingual in French and Haitian Creole, with Public Trust clearance eligibility.
